The Detroit Pistons finished the 2005 vegas Summer League on a high note.

After defeating the Hornets and Celtics, two of the three 2005 Piston draft picks made the All-VSL roster.

Jason Maxiell out of the University of Cincinnati was first team All-VSL shooting 51.9%, scoring 15 points per game and finishing second at the VSL in blocks with 1.8 per game.

Alex Acker from Pepperdine University, a second team All-VSL player shot 52.7% from the field, 46.2% from beyond the arc, and averaged a healthy 14.4 points per game.

Hyper athletic Amir Johnson, straight out of highschool shot 8-9 in the second to last VSL game, putting up 18 points and 8 rebounds in only 26 minutes.
